Back for a travel post this time!
I just went to a 5 days 4 night trip to Busan this summer and I will be sharing my full itinerary soon!! But this post will be dedicated to Busan Museum only!
First off, I was on quite a budget trip to Busan. My total trip was only less than RM1500 for my 5 days trip (not including shopping)!
The reason why is because most of the attraction in Busan is free! Same goes to Busan Museum! The admission fee is free! You get to experience Korea Tea Ceremony and get to try on HanBok for free!! (cheapskate level 9000) but I enjoyed the free experience a lot la
Very much like the Japanese's Cha Do style, without the brushing. There was a very nice lady that guide us through the ceremony, despite we were the only non-Korean during that ceremony. She had to speak in both Korean and English.
After the tea ceremony, me and my sister got the chance to try on Han Bok! *kind reminder* the session is only open to 2 people per group, so if you're in a big group then some of the people will only be able to sit there and watch.
The whole process was super fast, within 15 minutes I'm done with wearing the head piece and Han Bok, finished taking pictures and taking everything off.
Also another kind reminder! It is better to make reservation beforehand to avoid any disappointment! You can ask your hotel/homestay to help call the museum a day before to make an appointment. The tea ceremony is only available on 10:30, 13:30 and 15:00 so make sure to check if it's fully booked or not! We were super lucky as we did not make any reservation and just went there to try out our luck, so happened someone canceled their appointment and we get to try everything out!
There are a lot of Korean cosmetic shops around KyungSung University station, so if you would like to shop after or before going to the museum i recommend going there to have a look! There's lots of students around that area!
